The GPLS Library Live Streaming Kits were expertly crafted and hand put together in an effort to provide Georgia's public libraries with an all-in-one kit of the latest technology to live stream everything from classes, new library location openings, special events, story times, and more!

The kits can be used for staff and patron training, programming, and promoting your library.

GPLS has provided a series of tutorial videos to help guide your libraries to become experts at live streaming, audio and video recording, and editing. Below is a breakdown of all of materials in the kit, how-to videos for streaming, recording audio, editing, and a frequently asked questions section.

Setting Up Your Sony Camcorder for Live Streaming

  • StreamLabs: A popular streaming platform for Twitch, YouTube & Facebook

  • YellowDuck: With Yellow Duck, you can instantly create a live stream on Instagram from your PC, Mac, Linux and more. Streaming to Instagram is simple, and the set up is almost the same as if you were to stream on any other live video streaming website or service.
