education, Training, and awareness

It is suggested that upwards of 95% of cybersecurity breaches result from human error. This also means that 95% of cybersecurity breaches can be prevented simply with awareness, training, and education. Human error in cybersecurity can include downloading infected software, using weak passwords, not updating software, not knowing how to spot a phishing email, sharing sensitive data with the wrong people, leaving documents or devices accessible and unprotected, and more.

Security awareness, training, and education should be applied at every level within an organization, and should be designed to meet your employees at their level.

GPLS is here to help your team address cybersecurity concerns at all levels. If you have any questions, contact infosec@georgialibraries.org.
