Digital Signage Kit
Welcome to the Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS) Digital Signage Kit! This kit was created to provide a compact and highly mobile solution for digital signage at events, conferences, and presentations. The kit is ideal for auto-rotating through signage at a vendor booth, showing agendas at a conference, or providing a quick solution for presentations in a non-standard environment.

Maintenance Tips
Cleaning the TV Screen: Use a soft, clean cloth to wipe down the screen if it gets smudged or dirty. Do not use scratchy fabric like paper towels.
Replace batteries as needed: Battery replacements may be needed in the keyboard, mouse, or TV remote. Please check them before you leave with the kit or bring spare batteries with you.
Troubleshooting
Chromebox:
No power: Verify that the Chromebox is on or click the power button (remember it is fanless so it is silent!). Check that the power cable is securely inserted in the back of the Chromebox.
No Internet: This is likely caused by not being connected to any known Wireless network. Follow the steps below to connect to a new network such as conference room WiFi or you own wireless hotspot.
Plug the wireless keyboard and mouse into the Chromebox.
Power cycle the Chromebox and as it boots click "Ctrl+Alt+S" (you will see this option displayed on the screen as it boots) to switch from signage mode to regular Chrome OS.
In the bottom right, select the wireless icon and add the desired wireless network as you normally would.
Verify you are connected to the internet, then reboot the chrome device to return it to kiosk/digital signage mode.
No Audio/Video Output:
Ensure the HDMI cable is connected between the TV and the Chromebox or your own device.
Verify input selection on the TV matches the port that the HDMI cable is in on the back of the TV.
