WHAT IS TECH BOOT CAMP?
Tech Boot Camp (TBC) is an initiative of the Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS) to bring together IT professionals from library systems across the state to share experiences and ideas, allowing participants to explore opportunities made possible by emerging technologies.
TBC is partially assisted with funds from EBSCO and the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) through the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
CYBER CAMP 2021: THE SEQUEL
TBC21 is back with a virtual conference in Whova. Each track will have a variety of panels and workshops. The Cybersecurity track takes an in depth look into information security best practices and tools. Building off the statistics panel last year, the Data track highlights tips and tools that help with presenting data to a variety of audiences. The Grant track spotlights exciting projects that help with pandemic relief and how to navigate federal grant funding. The Tech track features cool tech and the ever popular Chrome OS and G Suite workshops.
